The team of BITSexam wishes all the students best of luck for BITSAT
Those who have given BITSAT please post your comments about BITSAT here - Click Here
Also compare it with other exams like AIEEE and give your feedback...It will be a good tool to judge the level of actual BITSAT and the expected cutoffs

- Anonymous said : sir don't you think luck factor does play a role in bitsat?
- I say : It sure does...dont call it luck though...call it your destiny....And always be the one to make your destiny not that one waiting for it...So in short complete the syllabus :)
- Abhinav said : Scored 327. as far as the level of paper is concerned it was surely easier than AIEEE. Feel pity for the guy who said that chem was 10 times tougher than EEE's chem. everything was pretty easy. questions were short ant to the point nothing very confusing. The conceptual part in physics was missing while chem didn't contain the practical part at all (salt analysis and all that). Maths was ok. Mainly focussed on Calculus. The only part which i found slightly tough was English just because it took time to read those long passages and then keep the main points in mind while answering. committing 25 mistakes did cost me a bit. guys just keep the the time factor in mind and u'll have fun.
- I say : Luck fellow...not all people get paper from the topics you prepare.... I have always said that BITSAT is easier than AIEEE except for the extra topics and more of memory based questions in Chemistry...rest questions are as I have always told - "Straight forward i.e. Basic Model Problems /Basic Formulae "
- Siddharth via Email :I gave the BITSAT on 12th may 12:30 to 3:30.I have scored 422 marks.I'll like to thank you for the valuable guidance on your site bitsexam.Actually little material is available, a drawback. But can be used to one's advantage. Indeed the key is to do the syllabus properly.Because it is not necessary that you get the equal no. of questions from each topic. In my paper, there were few from organic but many from Stereochem.I found that there were many questions from the old NCERT Chemistry(2006 and before),especially the last few chapters.Another thing is that if there are even upto 10 questions left out of 150 with 20-25 minutes left, one can take calculated risks and go for the extra questions. 15 minutes is quite enough to do the extra questions.I found that the extra questions were of easy to medium level. In my opinion if time permits one should attempt these as these can help increase the score. The sample test(full length) on goiit.com is very good and gives useful practise as compared to other individual subjects tests(these are better to get an idea or for practise, but a full length one allows time management skills, too) like those provide by you or tcyonline. A full length test helps increase the confidence and preparation level manifold.
- I say : Congrats bro.....Yup I will say it as loud as possible.....try to complete your syllabus and revise basic formulas/model problems :)
- Neha via email :My BITSAT went ok, scored 345 (hoping for Computer Science in Goa...)Physics and Chemistry were around AIEEE level... Maths was similarly manageable, much easier than this year's AIEEE. My BITSAT English section was unfortunately about the same level as SAT Critical Reading.
- Ashar said : Bitsat was comparatively easier than AIEEE, as was expected.
But I found some questions of Chemistry rather absurd, memory based questions from the unexpected corners of the book. Well, this is inevitable. Not time consuming though (1 min/ques).
Physics was mostly conceptual. 5-6 numericals. Topics of XIth were there in almost equal proportion. One can attempt 90% questions if prepared well for JEE.
Logical Reasoning was quite easy. I found a few questions of English slightly difficult & time-consuming, especially the passage based questions (I had 4-5 of them) and odd-one out (in which I could understand only two options).
Maths will take time, so better take aside 70-80 min. for this section, and attempt at last. There were a few questions meant to be answered by checking options (could save a lot of time, but requires presence of mind there). Many questions are exactly from AIEEE or JEE previous papers. And don't forget trigonometry, there were about 5-6 questions from it in my paper (some couln't be answered by satisfying options). Quite a few questions from co-ordinate will test the speed of candidate. So, practice is must. Taking maths exam in front of PC is different, and does consume more time.
My Bitsat score: 346
Expected scores of -
JEE: 211
AIEEE: 291
In VIT, I secured 193 rank. - I say : I would always advice any guy/gal to take Physics at the end...If you have good practice and are good with elimination techniques then you can complete maths in 50-60 mins which is good considering you have 180 min :)
