Unlike other colleges we have placements in two semesters and most companies come for placements in both the semesters. Also there are many companies whic do not come to campus for placement but recruit during internship like I was selected in my company.

The APPLICATION form for writing BITSAT 2011, the first online examination at undergraduate level in India, for entry into Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Pilani Goa and Hyderabad campus will be available from the third week of December.

Happy to check the news that Prithviraj Chavan has been declared as the new chief minister of Maharashtra. After the Adarsh society scandal, I hope he brings some sanity to the politics.

BITS PILANI Second Semester Admission Notification

The notification for admissions into BITS Pilani in second semester is out. This is similar to the SPRING ADMISSIONS for MS and MBA in countries like United States.

The point to note is that these admissions are based on the BITSAT score in that year. For year 2010, they will consider the BITSAT score of 2010. The cutoffs are usually higher than the first semester admission. Please note that admissions are only for seats which are left over, so do not have huge expectations.
