What is the application procedure for candidates with foreign qualifications?

There is no separate procedure. They have to apply similar to Indian students and to provide an equivalence certificate from AIU at the time of applying for Admissions later.

How to fill up the Bitsat application form

BITSAT is the first online entrance examination for undergraduates in India. Based on Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) it is the entrance examination for Birla Institute of Technology and Science.

BITSAT is for 3 hours and is similar to many other engineering entrance examinations like IIT JEE, AIEEE etc. It has 150 questions divided into 4 components. Every correct answer gives you a score of +3 and every negative answer -1.

The best part of BITSAT is the option to answer more than actual number of questions provided you have answered all the questions. If you have answered every question you have a choice of attending extra 12 questions.So one could say that BITSAT highest score could be 486 ( though I am not entirely sure if anyone has got that many marks).

• So How tough or rather how easy is BITSAT?

BITSAT is just a notch above other engineering entrance examinations. It is not tough, but lengthy. At the same time, people who use common sense and few tricks will get better marks than most others.If you see the cutoffs for all the years till date, you can see that 300 is the apt score to get into BITS and 350 will gaurante you a degree of your choice.You can check out all the tricks, just do a search for the topics from the search bar in the right corner of this blog.

MANIPAL APPLICATION FORMS 2011, MANIPAL ONLINE APPLICATION 2011, APPLY ONLINE FOR MANIPAL

The forms of Manipal university are out. The cost of Manipal application form is 500 and for the entrance examination for engineering it is 1000. So the total cost comes to 1500.You can apply online here.
