Admission and Scholarship Policy for BITSAT Candidates - Year 2011 at
BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus
Candidates who have secured an overall aggregate of 80% and above in Physics,
Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in the Qualifying Examination (12
th
Grade or
equivalent), with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics subjects and having a score of 200 and above in BITSAT will be
eligible for the following:
a) Admission in the discipline of their choice at Dubai Campus.
b) Scholarship based on BITSAT score:

1 >300 75% of Tuition Fee
2 250 to 299 50% of Tuition Fee
3 200 to 249 25% of Tuition Fee
* The above scholarship is applicable for first year of 2011 admissions
(Academic year 2011-12) only. Subsequently, the students will be eligible
for the merit scholarship of the institute (Refer 8.2 of the admission
bulletin) as per the prevailing eligibility criteria mentioned therein.
Others:
1. Candidates availing the above BITSAT scholarship will not be eligible for
any other scholarship of the institute in the first year.
2. All other fee related to Hostel, Visa, Insurance etc must be paid in full by
these candidates.
3. The decision of the BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus Management will be final in
all matters concerning the award of the above scholarship.
Similar scholarships for students having high ranks in IIT-JEE 2011 and AIEEE 2011
will be awarded. The details of the same are being worked out by the Admissions
committee.
